The ARCS Annual Conference stands as the renowned must-attend industry event where Regulatory Authorities, Government, industry professionals, consumers, patients, practitioners, researchers, and academia come together to unite, educate, inform and network. This year, the ARCS Annual Conference theme is "Life Sciences Unlocked: Shaping the Next Era", featuring a comprehensive program with parallel sessions spanning three days.

CONFERENCE OVERVIEW:

This year’s program is designed to deliver value across all three days, regardless of functional area, supporting continuous professional development, insight and meaningful connection.

DAY 1: 10th June

The opening day of the conference will focus on the latest developments shaping the regulatory landscape in Australia and globally. Designed to deliver timely and practical insights, the program will provide essential updates for professionals working across prescription and non-prescription medicines, medical device regulation, GxP principles, and medical operations.


Continuing our longstanding collaboration with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), the Day One agenda will feature updates from key TGA branches, highlighting significant initiatives, reforms and priority projects.

Some of the focus areas from the TGA will include:

  • Keynote address, to include the high-level branch updates
  • PMAB - Q&A panel section
  • Pharmacovigilance
  • Medicine shortages
  • Clinical trials and Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
  • Labelling/TGO update
  • CH Q12 implementation

DAY 2: 11th June

The second day of the conference will deliver focused updates across prescription and non-prescription medicine regulation, pharmacovigilance, reimbursement and market access, clinical research, and data, technology and informatics. The program will highlight key sector developments and explore how technology is being leveraged across the life sciences landscape.

Building on our ongoing collaboration, we are again working closely with the TGA to ensure the agenda includes timely updates from relevant branches on priority projects, reforms and activities.


Day Two will conclude with a highly anticipated networking event, the Conference Dinner. Delegates are invited to enjoy an unforgettable evening while taking in the spectacular Vivid Sydney light displays from a unique Sydney Harbour-side dining experience.

DAY 3: 12th June

The final day of the conference will offer deeper insights into clinical operations from sponsor, site and patient perspectives. The program will introduce a dedicated stream focused on diversity, inclusiveness and consumer engagement, highlighting their critical role in research, workforce development and sector capacity.

The day will also feature sessions designed to support and connect entrepreneurs and innovators, alongside a new cross-sector stream delivering updates from Federal and State governments. Returning by popular demand, the student and early-career stream will once again provide valuable career guidance and sector insights.

The conference will conclude with a “must-attend” closing networking reception, providing a final opportunity to reflect, connect and celebrate.
